Peter Freed is almost an institution in King West. Now Freed is branching out of his favourite ‘hood and will be launching projects in the near future in the St Lawrence Market area (Sixty Colborne), Yorkville, and Yonge and Eglinton.
Freed’s projects are high on design and he is more forward-thinking than most developers downtown. This project is no exception and he brought on “starchitect” and local guy Peter Clewes from architectsAlliance to design the building.
The floor plans in this tower are the best I’ve seen from any project that has launched so far this year. The tower suites are all excellent and the podiums are pretty much all solid too. The rooftop will be ultra-sexy with a specially designed raised swimming pool and patio/lounge area. Imagine going home on your lunch break for a dip in the pool!
The St Lawrence neighbourhood is one of the best in the city. It’s right up there with Yorkville, King West, the Entertainment District,and of course the Yonge/Bay Corridors as the hottest in the city over the last 18 months.
